Hazel opened hb Opticians Ltd in 2006 and is the Founder and Principal Optometrist.  We use the latest technology to carry out a wide range of eye examinations ensuring a thorough and professional experience.  Our glazing lab is locally situated meaning we can provide an expedient service for spectacles.

At hb Opticians we pride ourselves in our friendly and personal service, and after trading for more than 10 years we know our community well and have an established reputation.  When you visit our practice you can be rest assured that all your needs will be taken care of from head to toe.

As health-fashion professionals we are dedicated to providing first class eye care for all ages whilst offering all the leading designer eye wear.

Hazel has over 20 years’ experience in optics, over 18 years of which as a fully qualified optometrist, graduating from Bradford University in 2000. She subsequently gained extensive experience working with esteemed optical professionals and practices. She is a Member of the General Optical Council (GOC) and the Association of Optometrists (AOP) and enhances her knowledge and skills through Continuing Educational and Training (CET).

In Hazel’s spare time she enjoys a variety of sports including cycling, running and swimming.
