Tonometry

This test involves a few small puffs of air in to your eye which allows us to calculate the pressure of the fluid inside your eye.

If the pressure gets too high, this can cause glaucoma which can cause damage to the optic nerve and peripheral vision.

This disease is often asymptomatic; this is why it is very important to have regular check-ups – especially in patients aged over 40.
